Refund policy

At 6 Yards, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and heritage of our collection. Since many of our pieces are authentic handloom products, please keep in mind that small variations in the weave, print, or stitch aren't flaws—they are the beautiful "thumbprints" of the artisans who made them and a mark of a truly handmade product.

We want you to love what you receive, but we understand that sometimes things don’t go quite as planned. Here is how we handle returns and refunds:

Damaged or Defective Items

If your product arrives damaged or with a genuine defect, we are happy to provide a refund.

  • Report within 48 hours: Please let us know within 48 hours of delivery by emailing us at support@the6yards.com or messaging us on WhatsApp at 9392795353.

  • Inspection: To help our team inspect the issue, please include a clear picture and a short video of the damage.

  • Processing: Once your request is accepted, please allow 5–7 working days for us to process your refund.

  • Note: We cannot accept refund requests reported after the 48-hour window.

Exchanges & Changes of Mind

If you have a change of heart, we offer exchanges within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition: The product must be returned in its original, pristine condition—unwashed, unworn, and without any custom stitching or damage.

  • Store Credit: For exchanges, we do not offer cash refunds. Instead, we will issue a store coupon or credit note for the value of the item, which you can use to find something else you love within the next 6 months.

Exclusions

To maintain our quality standards, we cannot offer returns or refunds on "Fabric by the Meter" once it has been cut.
